Summertime Fruit Salad

Any fruit you like will work for this, just make sure it is fresh fruit, not canned.  Make sure everything is in bite size pieces.  The amount is totally up to you.  The measurements below will make enough for 6-10 people.

This recipe calls for either 1 ½ tablespoons of Tang beverage mix or 2 packs of sugar free Crush beverage mix.  I know it sounds strange to sprinkle this powder on top of the fruit; however, this gives it a great flavor and balances the sweetness.

½ cantaloupe

1 quart strawberries (quartered)

1 cup blueberries

½ pineapple

1 apple

1 ½ cup grapes

2 peaches

Using a large bowl, place diced fruit inside and sprinkle Tang or Crush beverage mix over the top.  Use a large spoon, to toss well so that the fruit is covered with the beverage mix.  Allow this to refrigerate for at least one hour before eating.
