Bacon Cheddar Spread

This is a super easy spread to serve with crackers.  It is also delicious spread on top of crusty bread and baked in the oven until bubbly.  Enjoy!


8 oz cream cheese

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 package Knorr or Lipton Dry Vegetable Soup Mix

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp garlic powder

2/3 cup cheddar cheese

2 tsp fresh parsley

dash black pepper

1/2 pound bacon - cooked and crumbled

  1. Soften the cream cheese to room temperature,

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, soup mix, garlic, pepper, & most of the cheddar cheese (keep just enough out to sprinkle on top for garnish).

  3. Pour into a shallow dish.

  4. Top with bacon, remaining cheddar cheese and parsley.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours before serving.

  6. Serve with crackers or artisan bread.
