Cream Cheese Brownie Pie A La Mode

This is chocolate heaven!

This brownie pie is filled with chocolate chips, melted chocolate and swirled with a luscious cream cheese mixture that bakes to perfection!

This is ooey, gooey goodness and served with vanilla ice cream....oh my!


for the brownie base:

3/4 cup all purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking soda

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbls water

2 eggs

1 cup melted chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

1 cup chocolate chips (not melted)

for the swirl:

8 oz cream cheese

1/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla


  1. combine the following in a large mixing bowl:  flour, salt, baking soda, 3/4 cup sugar, oil, vanilla, water, eggs and melted chocolate

  2. mix well with a wooden spoon

  3. in a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla

  4. mix well with a whisk

  5. spray a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray

  6. spread brownie mixture in the plate

  7. dollop the cream cheese mixture over the top and gently swirl into the brownie batter; don't over mix this

  8. sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top

  9. bake on 350 for about 25-35 minutes, depending on your oven - when this comes out, it should be slightly brown around the edges and a tiny bit of jiggle in the center will be fine

  10. serve with vanilla ice cream

This is also great heated up in the microwave the next day!
