Instant Pot Spaghetti Sauce

With only 5 flavorful ingredients, what is not to love about this sauce?

The whole Instant Pot phenomenon was foreign to me until recently.  I purchased mine based on a recommendation from a friend who loves to cook too.  I had no idea how much this pot would transform my life ...and I am not getting paid by that company to say this!

This machine is awesome and I will admit that I am still learning how to use it; however, it makes the best spaghetti sauce!

This recipe is very simple and doesn't take long to put together.  I have not attempted cooking the noodles inside the pot yet, but maybe I will another time.

For this version, I simply cooked the noodles separately and added them to the sauce at the end.

There is just something about the flavor of food that is cooked at a very high pressure...it is divine!

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground Italian sausage

2 regular size jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce

1/3 cup ketchup

1 onion chopped

Directions

  1. On the saute setting, brown the meat and onions.

  2. Add all other ingredients.

  3. Place it on the pressure cooker setting for 15 minutes.

  4. Once the timer goes off, you can release it slowly or using the quick release method.

  5. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles or your favorite pasta.
